If you always dreamed of traveling to Paris, here is your chance to make your dream come true.

Join Seattle-based award-winning chocolatier Michael Poole in Paris, France (October 28-November 4, 2019) to attend the Salon du Chocolat’s opening night VIP event “la soirée inaugurale” and as well as other events celebrating its 25th anniversary.

Tantalize your taste buds and feast your eyes at one of the glitziest, largest, and most extraordinary celebrations of chocolate and cacao in the world.

Upon arrival in Paris, you will check-in to a four-star tourist hotel on the Left Bank. That evening, you will experience a traditional French bistro dinner. Your itinerary includes attending a talk and reception with a Paris-based artist, attending a gourmet tour of rue Mouffetard in the 5th arrondissement, enjoying a jazz event in a Parisian flat, and visiting some of the most renowned chocolate shops in Paris.

You will also have plenty of time to visit some of Paris’s iconic museums, monuments, and neighborhoods like the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, and Le Marais. You will learn more about Black Paris after World War II on a walk that “highlights the lives of writers such as Richard Wright, Chester Himes, and other literati. Learn about contemporary Black French associations, the Black heritage of the great French writer Alexandre Dumas, and the author of the French law that declares slavery a crime against humanity.”

Chef Poole has traveled to Paris for twenty years, and with him as your guide you will have an authentic Paris experience like only an insider can provide.
